No! The driver collects the printed ticket on site. It is enough that the driver arrives at the port gate with the booking number, which he/she receives from PROMY24.COM in advance.
The validity of the ticket depends on the terms of service set out by the ferry company and the type of ticket.
With open-type tickets, the ticket may be valid from 1 day to up to 30 days.
In the case of closed-type tickets, in most cases the ticket expires at the date of departure.
A closed ticket is issued for a specific date and time. The driver has to appear at the terminal at the specified time. Closed tickets which, for various reasons, have not been used will not be transferred to the next departure.
An open ticket is valid for a time period set individually, depending on the ferry operator's line (e.g. the ticket is valid for 10 days from the date of booking on the selected route). It allows for flexible crossing without the driver having to arrive at the port at a given time. With this ticket, as long as there is room on the ferry, the driver will be taken on the ferry that departs the soonest after his/her arrival at the port.
It is dependent on the terms and conditions of the ferry operator. For most directions, we suggest 2 hours before the time of departure, although there are situations that deviate from the average, e.g. in the case of open tickets.
IMPORTANT!!! What counts is the time of receipt of the ticket, not the appearance of the car at the port!!!!
Most ferry operators add operating costs such as Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and sulphur emissions fee (NS) to their standard freight price. In special cases, additional fees, such as gate fee, tonnage allowance or port costs, are added to the ticket price. In order to learn about the requirements for specific routes, please check the prices on our website or contact our forwarders.
The current timetables can be found upon selecting the booking dates. Our system will automatically search for the nearest dates as well as convenient alternatives.
Where the given route does not include the crossing schedule or the schedule is irregular, please contact our forwarders directly.
Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the special settlement arrangements between promy24.com and ferry operators.
We would also like to point out that the prices we provide are special prices and they may differ from the prices offered by the shipowners. If the payment on site is the only possible method, please contact the shipowner directly.
