Privacy policy

I. INTRODUCTION

We respect the privacy of our Customers/Users, therefore we provide this Privacy Policy so that each Customer/User knows to what extent their personal data is processed, including so that they can independently, consciously, and freely decide whether to provide us with their data.

This Privacy Policy takes into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as “GDPR” (effective from May 25, 2018).

II. WHO IS THE PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER

The Personal Data Controller is Przedsiębiorstwo Przewozu Towarów PKS Gdańsk-Oliwa S.A. with its registered office in Gdańsk at ul. Kołobrzeska 28, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs by the District Court Gdańsk-Północ in Gdańsk, 7th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number: 0000066693, NIP: 584-10-31-823, also referred to in this document as “PKS Gdańsk-Oliwa SA”.

III. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS

We process the data you provide in emails, by phone, or in forms on our websites, i.e.: pks-sa.com, promy24.com, blogtransportowy.pl, zawiaty.com, turkusorg.pl, pksgo.com. This is primarily data necessary to respond to you, submit an offer, perform a cooperation agreement, and data that you leave when browsing our websites, i.e., among others, data that you leave in cookies. IV. VOLUNTARY PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

Providing personal data is voluntary, but failure to provide data marked as necessary will prevent us from providing services to you.

VI. RECIPIENTS TO WHOM WE MAY TRANSFER YOUR DATA

Your data may be transferred to:

  • Entities processing personal data on behalf of the Controller, including IT service providers – such entities process data on the basis of a contract with the Controller and exclusively in accordance with the Controller’s instructions,
  • Entities authorized to obtain them under applicable law, e.g., law enforcement authorities in the event of a request by an authority based on an appropriate legal basis,
  • Recipients from third countries, i.e. countries outside the European Economic Area, e.g. if it is necessary to provide services to you or if it is conditioned by a specific legal basis – subject to compliance with all GDPR requirements regarding the transfer of personal data to a third country.

 

VII. YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to:

  1. The right to access your data
  2. The right to request the rectification of data
  3. The right to erasure (the right to be forgotten)
  4. The right to restrict the processing of your data
  5. The right to object (objection to processing, objection to direct marketing, including profiling, justified objection to the processing of your data in the legitimate interest of the Controller).
  6. Right to lodge a complaint with the personal data protection supervisory authority, PUODO, if you believe that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR

If your data is processed on the basis of consent:

  1. The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  2. The right to transfer personal data

All requests regarding the processing of personal data, including your rights, can be sent by e-mail to iodo@pks-sa.com or in writing to Przedsiębiorstwo Przewozu Towarów PKS Gdańsk-Oliwa S.A., ul. Kołobrzeska 28, 80-394 Gdańsk – with the note “IODO”.

Your requests will be considered without undue delay, no later than within one month of receipt. If the nature of the request is complex or the number of requests is very large, the deadline for considering the request may be extended by another month, of which we will inform you.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:
