It is an important element of both our mission and vision. We inspire our employees to take action for the benefit of the local community – one result of this is the regular “Share a fiver” campaign, in which all members of the nominated team donate a certain amount of money each month to a cause of their choice.
The list of beneficiaries includes organizations working with people with disabilities, those struggling with cancer, as well as shelters for homeless animals. We conduct educational campaigns online to raise awareness of road safety and preventive healthcare. Our organization is committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Our employees can pursue their sporting passions as part of the PKS Team – the company provides financial support for individual events. The openness and values on which the organization is based mean that our employees volunteer at shelters for people experiencing homelessness, hospices, the Ukraine Support Center, and animal shelters.
Appreciating and promoting such attitudes encourages employees to initiate grassroots aid activities. In 2020, we were awarded a bronze medal and EcoVadis certificate for our level of corporate social responsibility. EcoVadis, as the only provider of universal sustainability ratings, verified our pro-environmental development results in four thematic areas: environment, employment, fair business practices, and supply chain.
