AEO audit
Successful completion of the AEO audit – confirmation of PKS Gdańsk Oliwa standards
On 12 December, the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) audit conducted by the Tax Administration Chamber in Gdańsk was completed. The audit was assessed as low risk, which means that the likelihood of irregularities was considered low and that the company’s procedures and control mechanisms are effective and fully implemented.
PKS Gdańsk Oliwa has held AEO status continuously since 2019. Such a good audit rating means that the next inspection is not planned for another three years.
For the TSL industry, AEO is not a formality, but a confirmation of the operational maturity of the organisation. It is a signal to customs authorities, customers and partners that the company operates on the basis of orderly processes, consistent documentation and realistically functioning control systems.
What does AEO mean in practice?
Road
transport AEO status means less risk of inspections, faster responses from the authorities and greater predictability of journeys. In practice, this translates into fewer delays and more efficient execution of international orders.
Warehouse logistics
AEO means simplified customs procedures, more efficient clearance and a high level of operational and documentary security. Warehouses operate as a stable and reliable link in the supply chain.
Sea freight
In port operations, AEO means fewer physical checks, faster import and export procedures, and smoother transfer of cargo to subsequent stages of transport.
Low-risk partner
The successful completion of the AEO audit confirms that PKS Gdańsk Oliwa is a secure, compliant and predictable logistics partner. For customers and industry partners, this is a clear indication that they are entrusting their cargo to an organisation that understands the realities of international transport and is able to manage risk effectively.
