60 years of PKS Gdańsk Oliwa and 33 years under the leadership of Chairman Rafał Olszewski
On 1 April, PKS Gdańsk Oliwa celebrated its 60th anniversary. However, this year’s anniversary is particularly significant for another reason as well — the company has been led for the past 33 years by Rafał Olszewski, the Chairman of the Management Board, who has been shaping its development for three decades and is responsible for the organisation’s strategic direction.
It is precisely this perspective — 60 years of the company’s history and 33 years of management by Chairman Rafał Olszewski — that lends this year’s anniversary particular significance. The anniversary is not only an opportunity to reflect on the journey the company has undertaken, but also a moment to consider the responsibility that has long been associated with operations in the transport, freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
As Rafał Olszewski emphasises, behind PKS Gdańsk Oliwa’s 60th anniversary lie not only figures, kilometres and the company’s growth, but above all people, decisions and the daily responsibility for the continuity of our customers’ supplies.
– For 33 years, I have had the honour of leading an organisation that operates across Europe and is responsible for our customers’ actual supply chains. This anniversary is not only a source of pride for me, but above all a moment for reflection – says Rafał Olszewski, Chairman of the Management Board of PKS Gdańsk Oliwa.
Over the decades, the market, technology, scale of operations and pace of the industry have changed. What has not changed, however, is what matters most — customer trust is built solely on what is actually delivered. This approach has remained one of the cornerstones of the company’s operations for years.
Today, PKS Gdańsk Oliwa is an organisation supporting customers in Poland and across Europe in the fields of transport, freight forwarding and logistics.
