The year 2026 is a special time for the maritime transport and logistics industry. Polska Żegluga Bałtycka – Polferries is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and this anniversary has become an opportunity for meetings, discussions and summaries during events in which the PKS Gdańsk Oliwa SA team also participated last weekend.
This is a special moment for our company. In the same year, PKS Gdańsk Oliwa is celebrating 60 years of operation, and our brand promy24.com is celebrating its 25th anniversary on the market. What is more, we have been cooperating with Polferries continuously for 30 years, jointly developing solutions for road and maritime transport.
Polferries – 50 years of stability in the Baltic Sea
Five decades of Polska Żegluga Bałtycka’s activity is a story of consistent development, investment and the ability to adapt to changing market realities. For years, Polferries has played a key role in ferry services and transport ferries, connecting Poland with Scandinavia and supporting international supply chains.
It is also an example of a Polish company based on Polish capital that successfully competes in the demanding European ferry market.
30 years of cooperation – a joint course for development
For PKS Gdańsk Oliwa, Polferries’ anniversary has a special significance. Three decades of cooperation mean hundreds of thousands of completed crossings, joint responses to market changes and the development of services that meet the real needs of international transport.

Course for the future
Looking to the future, we hope that initiatives such as the POLSCA project will strengthen the position of Polferries and the entire ferry segment in the Baltic Sea, enabling it to compete effectively with the largest European shipowners.
