Domestic distribution, in which PKS GDAŃSK - OLIWA specializes, is based on the cooperation of company's own branches and experienced Partners who collect and deliver pallets throughout the entire country. We fulfill domestic orders depending on the customer needs. We deliver any numer of pallets via distribution network make direct deliveries throughout Poland within 24 hours. Frequently Asked Questions

At PKS Gdansk-Oliwa company, every Customer has Dedicated Contact Person with whom he can contact in all matters.

Customers registered in Poland should must send CEiDG or NIP, REGON and KRS to the address indicated by Dedicated Contact Person. If your company in registered outside of Poland, you will need to send your European VAT Number.

There are three ways to place orders:

  • on the Gdansk-Oliwa order sent to Dedicated Contact Person,
  • through the Customer Panel,
  • directly through the integration of information systems.

The order must be sent by 15:00 one day prior loading. In exceptional cases and with confirmation of the possibility of collection by PKS Gdansk-Oliwa PKS, there is a chance of collecting the goods same day as placing the order (if it will be sent by 10:00).

Groupage shipments are carried on semi-pallets (80x60), europallets (120x80), industrial pallets (120x100) or non-standard (max 4m2). Goods may vary, but must be always suitable for mechanical handling and must not protrude beyond the outline of the pallet for safety reasons.

  • The weight of one pallet cannot exceed 1200 kg
  • The height of one pallet cannot exceed 220 cm
  • Goods – each shipment placed on the pallet must be secured in a way that guarantees its stability. The basic way to protect the product is to wrap it with a stretch foil. The foil must be tied to the base of the pallet and then tightly wrapped around the product at least 3 times.
  • Labels – printed from the system labels or sent by Dedicated Contact Person must be checked, then placed on each pallet of the shipment on two adjacent sides so that they are visible and can be scanned.
  • Documents – printed from the system labels or sent by Dedicated Contact Person must be checked and then attached to the shipment.

The standard liability of PKS Gdańsk-Oliwa is based on RCI (Road Carrier Insurance) or RFI (Road Freight Insurance).

Yes. PKS Gdansk-Oliwa offers the possibility to purchase additional CARGO insurance for each transport, the cost depends on the value and type of goods.

PKS Gdansk-Oliwa allows you to track the status of your shipment through the Track & Trace system.

Yes. All deliveries through domestic network are done with trucks equipped with tail-lift with no extra costs. It is a prerequisite to place an appropriate requirement in the order.

Yes. PKS Gdańsk-Oliwa transports certain hazardous materials. ADR transport is a service associated with additional costs. It is a prerequisite to place an appropriate requirement in the order. To discuss details please contact Dedicated Contact Person.

In the domestic network, electronic Proof of Delivery (e-POD) are available within 48 hours after delivery.

  • Pro-forma – an invoice issued and regulated before the delivery of the transport. A document that is an invoice or proposal for an invoice (usually a VAT invoice). It is not an accounting document.
  • E-invoice – an invoice issued and sent electronically which is an ecological equivalent of a paper form containing the same data. The E-invoice is sent as a PDF file with a secure electronic signature and it is used to speed up the circulation of documents.
  • Traditional invoice – a paper form confirming the sale, issued in two identical copies and sent to the mailing address.
